If you have it, could you send some images my way of the book? (I'm really picky about the look of a prayer book...don't ask!) Also, as a Latin Catholic, would you reccommend this, or should I get the three volume set? Any pictures of these books would be very helpful in my decision making.

I'd also like to take this time to praise the beautiful Divine Office of the Maronite Church. It's just great.

I bought it once; I since gave it away. You may be disappointed with the production value of the physical book itself, I was. But I gave mine away, because I could not figure out how to use it, and I had a friend who was very interested in the Maronite Church who wanted it.

I recommend if you get it, have a Maronite lay person or priest show you the ropes.

I have attended the Qurbono here locally, the Maronite Services are very beautiful.

Perhaps we have Maronite Brothers or Sisters on the forum who can give advice?

As far as the physical production of the book, I saw a photo of it and I was a little dissapointed. I'm contemplating buying the official books...I'll wait and see what people say about it here and on Cahtolic Answers Forums.

Tom,

There aren't many Maronites here who post on this forum. I'd recommend contacting one of the local congregations as well.

I agree - the Maronite traditions are beautiful, especially the tones. (I'm partial to the Syrian traditions anyway...)
