So far I've come up with the following (in no particular order): St. Roman the Melodist St. John of Damascus St. Andrew, Archbishop of Crete St. Cosmas the Hymnographer, Bishop of Maiuma St. Ephrem the Syrian St. Joseph the Hymnographer Holy Prophet David St. Cecilia of Rome St. C�dmon of Whitby St. Theodore the Studite Theophanes, Confessor and Hymnographer, Bishop of Nicea Can anyone add to the list? Athos; St. Gerontii, Canonarch of the Pecherska Lavra; and St. Maxim Grek are a few I thought of.
