To me, the Liturgy is a taste of heaven! It is an icon of eternity.

By the way, that is why, including trendy and questionable ideologies from this generation, is so out of place.

I want our Liturgy back! It means everything to me.

I think I could remain a Catholic in Europe, where there is reverence & decorum. (I have traveled in Bavaria, France, and Austria.)
As for America, I often wonder who exactly is in charge here: the radical feminists or the bishops?

These bishops are in the back pocket of special interest groups! Have you been following what is coming out of the Bishops' meetings. Feminists, Homosexuals, Pacifists and Peace demonstrators, and every other liberal cause is what they talk about, what they issue statements about, and what they care about.

They think they are a radical 'non-governmental-organization' or some lobbying special interest.

It is about time our bishops start remembering their job. Why don't they start preaching the Gospel, and shepherding the flock?

Why don't they become bishops. Why don't they look to the models, Athanasius, John Chrysostom, Basil, Gregory... bishops all!

How I agree with you, brother in Christ Nick! Several members of my parish have already been received into Holy Orthodoxy since the "new Liturgy" has started being used, and I am going to be speaking to an Orthodox priest on these issues myself in the next week or two. I have a great love for our Ruthenian rescension and the beautiful Divine Liturgy that was my introduction to the Eastern Churches. I greatly sorrow that one cannot attend that Liturgy anymore in the Ruthenian Metropolia. For me it is truly a taste of Heaven!

I should add that at least I have a few recordings of the Divine Liturgy "as-it-was and as-it-should-be" so I can still experience what has captured my soul and brought me to such a great love for the Eastern Churches.

I have often wondered the same thing.
