Does anyone know if there will be a video available to order for some of the far-flung members of the Eparchy?

Christ is risen!

Dave:
Although I cannot be 100% certain, but I would say that there will be videos available, I did see a videographer set up in the Church. I will post details as they are made available.

Thanks, John. As a former Phoenician...just wondering, was Bishop O'Brien there? Were there many of the Roman priests from the Diocese of Phoenix in attendance? Let us know if the _Catholic Sun_ does a piece on this also!

Thanks again!

Hi Dave:

In addition to Archbishop Gabriel Montalvo, other Roman Bishops inluded:

Archbishop Michael Shehan(sp?) of Santa Fe; Bishop Kincanas(sp?), Coadjutor of Tucson; Bishop Thomas O'Brien of Phoenix; I believe there were one or two others, but I did not have the opportunity to meet them.

Outside of Fr Robert Skagen, Pastor of St. Helen's, I did not notice any other priests of the Diocese of Phoenix (BTW, Fr Bob has faculties from the Melkites and was granted the honor of Archimandrite). There were about 20+ priests from the Diocese of Tucson.

And I let you know if the _Catholic Sun_ does a report.

The Eastern Catholic Clergy of Arizona, other than the Ruthenians, present:
Fr and Panni Hugo Soutus, Ukranian; Fr and Panni Peter Boutrous(sp?), Melkite; Fr Deacon Marion Rimmer, Melkite; Fr Gattas(sp?), Maronite; I know that there is a Chaldean Catholic parish, Mar Abraham, but since Fr. Noel was reassigned I have not met his replacement.

I originally posted that there were 700+ in attendance for Bishop William's ordination but the figure is more like 900+.

John

Bishop John of the Slovak Eparchy of Toronto.

I did not see any clergy from the Orthodox jurisdictions.

Bisantino,

I think you may have meant Bishop Nicholas Samra

Yes, Steve you are correct, Basil is Bishop Nicholas' brother, who had served St John of the Desert Melkite Catholic Church in Phoenix. Thanks for the correction.

Yes, Vladyka Robert's consecration is good news but WHEN ARE WE GETTING A METROPOLITIAN???? Are we going to have to wait another year due to the U.S. Roman Catholic Molestation crisis?? That is not how a Particular Eastern Church in communion with Rome and a "suris juris" Church should be treated. Every day we go on without a Metropolitian our dwindling Church continues to suffer from this lack of leadership!

X.B.!, B.B.!

Now I'm confused. Vladyka Robert? I thought it was Vladyka William who was just consecrated.
