The (what is it, third?? fourth??) Annual Not Particularly Organized Gathering of Cyber-Byzantines will take place by the Shrine Altar, immediately following the Saturday Noon Divine Liturgy.

Come and meet the people behind the sigs!

If don't know any of your correspondents by sight yet, start with me - I'm an easy target. I'm short, cover my head, and will have been cantor for the Liturgy immediately preceeding.

As I am severely disabled I cannot possibly make the pilgrimage. I would be grateful if someone would please lift me in prayer and perhaps light a candle before the Holy Icons for me. Sometimes the pain is unbearable and I need patience. Thank you and enjoy! Who will eat the most perogis?

Another candle burns for you at the shrine of St. Anne on the holy mount as well. God works in the most INTERESTING ways...

On my way out, I'd picked up a new toothbrush. Didn't really need one, but for some reason, I just had to pick one up. Once onsite, I ran into a seminarian who had forgotten his. The next day, he insisted on giving me a couple of bucks, which I slid into the outer pocket of the bag I carry everywhere at Otpust. So I'm with another cantor, and she says, "let's take the shortcut to the Pontifical altar." Shortcut leads right through St. Anne's shrine. Candles there cost exactly what the seminarian had given me....

God is so very good! May He be pleased with us and grant us His Holy Spirit. Thank you all for your holy prayers. I have prayed and fasted for all of you this past week. As we prepare to celebrate the Holy Birth of the Theotokos may we fall on our faces before the Mystery and beg the Holy Mother of God to obtain wisdom and mercy.
