Glory to Jesus Christ!
Glory Forever!

I remember (in english) a setting of the Our Father that we used during the paschal season...If I remember correctly the tone was that of the paschal cannon...I know it is early but it is something I have been looking to get my hands on for utilizing at my new parish during Pascha...

Any help would be appreciated!
Chris

I know you won't like my answer, but there is a setting of the Our Father to the Paschal canon melody in the RDL book!

Chris,
Glory to Jesus Christ!
I know that you asked for the Lord's Prayer, but I have a copy of "Only Begotten" that I use here in Lansford arranged to a Paschal Melody. It uses our diocesan (ACROD) translation. It has been uploaded it to my server for your convenience. http://www.theologyincolor.com/ray/paschalonlybegotten.pdf
I hope that this can be of use to you also.
Warm regards,
Ray

Thank You Steve...I believe I saw an online copy of the RDL...do you know which one it is off hand??

Chris

PS...I am not one who is agressively against the RDL...I see a few problems with inclusive language in a few places...and am not crazy about mandating exactly what must be taken (therefore mandating certain things be left out) but I don't mind the music...

Thank you Ray! I will take a look at it (and save a copy) for possible use in May 2008!

Dear Job,

The new Divine Liturgies book for the Pittsburgh Metropolia provides a Paschal setting of the Our Father in the pages for Pascha (bottom of page 167).
