And before anyone asks why I have not posted this -- I was away in London frown

That's the Church where I am to be found every Sunday - one of the very few non Ukrainians there.

As one of Scottish descent, I am gratified by Cardinal O'Brien's
participation. The Twentieth Century was full of vile deeds,
but the Ukrainian Famine was one of the vilest.

- not only was the Cardinal there - the Ukrainian Ambassador was due to speak at the Panachyda as well.

JGC nah - I go by coach - it may take longer but when you add in travel to Prestwick , travel from Stansted plus some bus fares as well - coach, though it's a much longer trip , is equally much cheaper .

Hmm think I did not phrase my comment re the Church I attend as well as I should have done - Edinburgh is my Parish.

Please excuse my mess up - put it down to the appalling cold that developed as soon as I came back on Monday - I won't be fit to go through to Edinburgh tomorrow frown

Sympathy. I only have to travel 50 minutes to get to my church.

If you run into Archbishop Mario, you can tell him we have
a Conti in my Russian-Catholic parish.

I wonder what Ukrainian with a Scottish accent sounds like.
