I am feeling a little bit down today - please remember me in prayer. I am sure that it is just temporary. I'm sure that the Lord in His goodness and mercy will lift my spirits. Could be just a little bit of tension. We all experience that now and again.

Lord Jesus Christ our True God, lift up Your servant, John, by the Power of Your Holy Name. Remind him of his dignity, the dignity You gave him in baptism, the kingly nature You conferred on him in Chrismation, and the tremendous Gift You gave him in Your Holy Mysteries. Remind him that You have hand-picked him for inclusion as an adopted son in our Father's Kingdom. Remind him that while we are all fellen and all fickle in our own commitment to You, You are not so and will never go back on the commitment You have made to him in these Holy Mysteries that mark him as one of the Father's own now and forever. AMEN.
Holy Mohter of God, spread your Protecting Veil over your son, John. Our Savior gave him to you as a gracious gift from the Cross to be his mother now and in the age to come. Interced for your son, John, and come to be his comforter as the mother that you are. AMEN.
St. John the Evangelist, young friend of Jesus, standing with Him until His last breat on the Cross, give your namesake the same courage to stand with Christ in this trial he has today. AMEN.
