This the Christmas Day (Gregorian Calendar usage) Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom recorded from Slovak Radio's Nationality-Ethnic Broadcast from the Basilian Sisters' monastery chapel in Svidnyk, Eastern Slovakia. It is sung by the choir of The Protection of the Mother of God Chapel (the former St. Paraskeva Church) of the Holy Wisdow Greek Catholic parish in Svidnyk. It is harmonized Subcarpathian Rusyn Prostopinije. Notice the inclusion of the Third Antiphon. You may download the file until Dec. 31th, 2007. http://www.rusynmedia.org/Divine%20Liturgy%20-%20Christmas%2025-Dec-2007%20Svidnyk%20SK.mp3Christos Razhdajet'sja! Slavite Jeho! Hehehehe, WOW a liturgy without inclusive language, what a treat!
A few things to notice:
Although they are in Svidnik, Slovakia, not one word of Slovak was used. Everything in Chruch Slavonic or Rusyn.
I did not hear any pages rattling because people had to go looking for version "F" or "G" or have to go to page 235, then to page 60, then to page 154, then page 26, or whatever, because of pointless liturgy changes. There is merit in keeping traditional hymms and prostopinije.
Although the "Slovak" Greek Catholic Eparchy has attempted to slovakisize Rusyns, you can clearly see they keep the true Rusyn traditions. This is thanks to priests like Fr. Frantisek Krajnak who demanded that Rusyns be allowed to have their own traditions and language, etc. Too bad we cannot have that here.

...but they changed Pravoslavnych to Pravovirni (orthodox or true faith to true believing).
Ung Rather similar to the "Christians of the true faith" rather than "Orthodox Christians" in the former translation of the Divine Liturgy used in the Byzantine-Ruthenian Metropolia... Now, glory to God, I can say with a smile on my face and a loud voice, "Orthodox Christians"! Timothy the newly-illumined

Everything in Chruch Slavonic or Rusyn. Almost. The opening Christmas carol (during the incensation) was thoroughly Ukrainian, both in music and in verb-forms and so on. Fr. Serge
