Got this from my pastor this evening. He has resigned all positions with the Metropolia, Archeparchy, and Seminary. I have no other information, at this point, but the above.

In Christ,
Dn. Robert

This feels like Nedil'a Paschi, so...

I have only just heard about this, so I am hesitant to say too much, but I am saddened by this news. It comes as a shock to me. While the RDL is not perfect, it was so much better than what we had before, and the amount of work put into it by all parties is so worthy of praise, it is a shame to hear people celebrating this resignation. Truly shameful.

I cannot agree with your sentiment. You may be celebrating now, but to return to what we had may only hasten the demise of our church.

We are all entitled to our own opinions, as this is America last time I checked.

Maybe you should find out how many have left because of the RDL...

There were several families in my parish

Now, with God's grace and our prayers, they may come back where they belong...
