Dearest Anhyelyna,

You and Raymond remain in my prayers daily. I also gave your names last night at Paraclisis to the Theotokos.

With all Christian love,
Alice

P.S. You have always considered this forum family--please know that this family is here for prayer and support at this difficult time for you. May God grant you strength and courage, and successful treatment and health for His servant, Raymond.

God bless you both,
Alice

Sometimes when illness occurs it strikes those that are watching from a distance just with the ability to shake their heads and say why Lord. I think of all your journeys/pilgrimages, God has truly prepared you in many ways that we can't comprehend. Know that during this time of Bright Sadness, we are all there with you. We may be at a distance, but through prayer, we are there with you.

We are so grateful for your support.

Prayers, my dear sister, for you and your husband, Raymond. My own sister is a lukemia survivor - with a then experimental vitamin therapy. She has been cancer free for over 10 years now, and has two beautiful children. The advances they are making daily are simply amazing.

update

I have just received a message from Raymond.

I took him into hospital again this afternoon , he was due for more routine blood tests and then we hoped to be told that his Hickman Line would be inserted tomorrow .

Tomorrow afternoon the Hickman line will be inserted and he has been told that at long last his Chemo will start on Monday.

I do not yet know if he will be permitted to come home for the weekend - I hope so - it will certainly be a good few weeks before he will be home again if ...........

You were both commemorated and prayed for at the Paraclisis service tonight. May God bless you both, through His all holy Mother, with His love, comfort and healing--
