Prayers that their government will allow people from outside to assist in the desperate situation in which the poor people of Burma find themselves

Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Meanwhile, at least 68,000 and as many as 128,000 people have died in Myanmar from Cyclone Nargis, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies said Wednesday. The numbers are much higher than official casualty figures released by Myanmar's government, a report from the organizations said. The government earlier said 22,000 people had been killed.

May they benefit from the help that is now being allowed into their country , may it get to those who are most in need . Lord open the eyes of the Administration of that country so that they will understand that their pride is denying many many folk of the simple things that will help them in their hour of need
