Given the nature of the RDL, for those that want to include more Slavonic what is the recommendation for teaching "new people" how to read those handouts so often seen for those special occasions?

A more easily readable transliteration? A separate pronunciation hand-out? Any thoughts?

As I have said and written so many times, please learn the Church-Slavonic alphabet.

In 1954 the prayer book CHRIST WITH US was distributed under the Bishop of Stanford (later Metropolitan Archbishop of Philadelphia) Ambrose (Senyshyn) which was charitably revolutionary. English translation and rubrics on one side and the Slavonic on the other. The marvelous part was the Slavonic was rendered in alternating tandem lines of the Ukrainian alphabet and English alphabet syllable by syllable. He did more with this book to teach Europeans to read English and the American to read Ukrainian than any other project I know. Since the work has already been done maybe a new version can also have tandem alphabets of the English Language, for the new immigrants. Reading the English in Cyrillic could be a painless epiphany for the American born.
