Yesterday Metropolitan Philaret ordained an Old Rite priest to serve the needs of the Synod of True Orthodox Christians of Greece and Abroad. The new priest, Fr Benedict has been granted permission to use the old rite by Metr Philaret of France as he found in them no error and by virtue of the long history of the Edinoverie movement within the church.

Fr Benedict will serve a missionary community in Wales.
