I hope my posting new topics is okay considering I have just started on here!

I will be in the Dominican Republic during Orthodox Christmas on the seventh and have been told that there is an Orthodox Church under the Ukrainian dioscese of the USA in Puerta Plata. Other sources have told me that there is only one church on Hispaniola - under the 'True' Russian Church. - Could anyone elaborate on these suggestions?

I am only there for about a week - but as it is the Nativity - I have to pop into a church somewhere!

Russian True Orthodox Church (got its orders from the UAOC), they follow Julian Calendar and they're located in Puerto Plata and Jarabacoa:

The problem is that I don't know if the site is updated. This is because I read somewhere that the parish in Puerto Plata was received by Michael Champion's group (a non-Canonical Ukrainian Church, not the UOC-USA).

The EP had a priest in hait but some years ago he was excommunicated (don't know why).
