Слава Ісусу Христу!

He is already a local saint, now it is time for a universal glorification to take its course.

I would recommend the book cited at the above link:

Слава Ісусу Христу!

Pani,

It would be nice. We know the resistance to Ukrainian subject matter in the media. There are several wonderful documentary films by renown filmmakers about the 1933 genocide Famine that most people never had an opportunity to see, even on Public TV. A foreign language film with English subtitles will probably have any better luck.

Unless you subscribe to one of the Ukey Weeklies advertisement of it’s screening will probably be hard to find. One can always contact “Oo-k-k-a” (Ukrainian Congress Committee of America) by phone 212=228=6840, or in a fax to 212=254=4721, and www.ucca.org to ask the producers of VLADYKA ANDREY. Of course God helps those who help themselves. If a sisterhood, brotherhood or parish wishes to obtain the film for a local screening, I am sure they will also know how to obtain a copy. Be sure to ask the film’s format it is produced on, so you can be sure the theater you rent can handle it.

What can we serve? Popcorn pyrohy!

Pustnik's link is actually a book about Patriarch Josyp. The definitive biography of Metropolitan Andrey in English is that of Korolevsky transleted by Archimandrite Serge. While not a biography as such, Krawchuk's work on Metropolitan Andrey's social ethics is excellent. Thank God the movie is finally out!!! Blessed Andrey, pray for us!!!
