Hi Everyone,
I have been wandering lately (after seeing World Youth Day all over the news down here) if Orthodox heirarch elections resemble in any way the papal conclave?
When a Patriarch (or Old-Rtie/ROCOR Metropolitan) is elected, what process do the elders go through? Are they also in a locked room - are there witnesses - must it be a a certain majority?
Just thought someone here (as you are all so worldly!) would know the answer.
Cheers,
Misha
