Слава Ісусу Христу! Most concise article by Mr. Michael La Civita for ONE magazine. Always wondered if the Slavonic term for catholic from the Creed “sobornuyu” was weakly translated as catholic, from the Slavonic. Would something more on the line of catholicity, inclusively, self determining, autocephalous be apropriate? The recent visit of the EP to Kyiv seems a contemporary development of such historic lineage. Concise studies of the various Slavic historical eparches to their contemporary developments would be compelling from Slovenia to Siberia. (For those having a hard time finding this article, here is my reprint: http://mykhayl.wordpress.com/yet-a-variance-bulgarian-greco-catholic/ ).
