Dear friends,

I recently obtained a video of the EWTN program "Learning about the Byzantine rite." Other than the incessant use of the word "rite," which I can't stand, the program was quite good. Yes, Father Michael was a little flustered by a few of the historical questions. But all in all he did a great job, and the show had a lot more substance than I expected. It really showed the beauty of some of our rituals.

Of course, the show wasn't as in depth as we would like, but it was a great effort for a 45 minute program. It did what it was supposed to do - briefly introduce us Byzantines, and get the audience thirsty for more.

I am happy to say that EWTN is now working on a follow-up program on Byzantine church architecture! This is great. While it may not be perfect, this is a BIG STEP forward on the part of EWTN.

Glory to Jesus Christ!!!!!

Anthony
