Christ is Risen!

Dear ByzForumers:

I'm looking for the sheet music of the Bulgarian chant version of "The Noble Joseph" in English.

Can anyone out there help?

Thanks.

Herb

Christ Is Truly Risen!

Herb,

It's a long shot, but try a PM to my friend, AntonI. As far as I know, Anton is our only Bulgarian Orthodox member. He hasn't been on-line for a couple weeks now, but I'm sure that he'll reply - whether he might know a source for it, that I don't know.

Many years,

Neil

dear Neil:

thanks very much.

I'm not sure it is really Bulgarian.

this tune/setting is usually used by those of the Russian musical trad (e.g. the OCA).

It's very common in OCA and ROC parishes, but I just can't seem to find an English copy on the internet. I've found a transliterated slavonic version, but I'm looking for the english setting.

thanks!

XB!

Is that the one you're looking for?
