All who ask and do not obtain their requests from God, are denied for one of the following reasons; because they ask at the wrong time, or because they ask unworthily and vaingloriously, or because if they received they would become conceited, or finally because they would become negligent after obtaining their request.

thank you for this beautiful quote...seems to me one of the best prayers is, "May Your holy will be done, O Lord, in this-or-that situation."

You are very welcome. I initially 'violated' the Prayer Forum's rules because I thought this was a nice prelude to the prayer request forum. I was scared no one would see it here.

I am glad that atleast there are some people who appreciate and understand that these spiritual tidbits and stories which I offer are to help my brothers and sisters, in love in Christ...

I am glad that it edified you...Indeed, may the Lord's will be done in all things and in all requests. God bless you.

Humbly,
Alice
