This weekend Our Lady of Wisdom Italo-Greek Catholic Church in Las Vegas, NV will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the ordination to the holy priesthood of its' pastor, the Rt. Rev. Archimandrite Francis Vivona, JCL.
Fr. Vivona is a bi-ritual priest who has served both the latin diocese of Las Vegas & the Ruthenian Eparchy of Van Neys for many years. The community of OLOW started out as a mission church & has blossomed over the past 15 years into a verile parish with a church building rivaling that of any established Orthodox church. Please pray for Fr. Francis on this joyous occasion. May the presence of the eastern rites foster a spirit of fellowship & eccuminism amongst the Orthodox brethren.
Many Years, Rev. Fr., Kronia Pola!
subdeacon Jon

"Has served"?

What's with the perfect tense? smile

He still serves both, although he has recently cut back somewhat at the diocese of Las Vegas chancery, as I understand.
