CIX!

I'm looking for a Mnohaya lita melody that begins with the words "Spasi Christe Bože" and uses (approximately) the same melody as the Ukrainian song "Ziyshla Zorya." Does any one know the complete lyrics for the beginning part or have a PDF of the music?

I asked a Ukrainian Catholic priest friend about this and he does not know this version. Is there a way you can sing and make a WAV of it for us?

I think this is the version that the Romzha Seminary Choir sang during their Concert Tour last year. We have it recorded during the last concert that was performed at St Ann Byzantine Catholic Church in Harrisburg.

I transcribed the words, and developed an English translation with Father Taras from Uzhorod, and one of the cantors at Epiphany has done a musical arrangement of it. I'll try to get in touch with him this week. I'm not sure he visits this forum.

There is a song...“Ой зійшла зоря та над Почаєвом…” that has to do with Pochaev. I am wondering if this is the name of the song to which you are referring.
