Well, my dad at 83 - he tumbled down a bank trying to get onto a step up into a tow truck that picked up his car after it stalled on the highway. Thank God for AAA.

Anyway, no broken bones, but his face is a mess. He has had a bunch of skin cancer surgery on his face and arms, and his nose - my daughter says it looks like Rudolph - so it was healed with pig skin after surgery for the skin cancer, well his nose is really torn up. His eyes are swollen. Anyway the one on his head that was done two weeks ago is torn also and really swollen. His mouth is really torn up. He is going to be in major pain tomorrow, not that he isn't tonight.

Angels were watching after him for sure.

He is SICU for observation, since there is bleeding in his brain. They are hopping it will stop, and just absorb into the body.

Prayers for Rose's Dad, Graham. May the Holy Unmercenary Physicians, Cosmas & Damien, watch over him and guide his caregivers. May his discomfort be minimal and may he have no lasting ill-effects from his accident.

Thank you so much for your prayers, for the prayers of righteous people avalth much.

He is still in SICU, whatever was bleeding seems to have stopped, but is not absorbed back in yet. They may step him down to a different room tomorrow. They gave him so solid food today, I think he was so hungry that he didn't mind how much his mouth hurt to eat. I guess he may have to stay put for a while.
