I've already seen through Youtube Byzantine chants played with an instrument, sth that seems to be a little bell. One I think was Greek, and another, which follows, is Arabic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWguK9A8mkg&feature=channelWhat is that and is it allowed?
