There -are- Metaphors in Scripture such as the Dragon/Serpent in Revelation 12:1-17 Satan has consistently been portrayed as the Dragon or Serpent.

The Scorching heat of the sun during the Tribulation is very consistent with the senario of the end time judgements of God.

If you see the scorching heat of the sun a metaphor, than that is what you see.
I see it as literal.
Neither one of us is going to change Gods program by our personal position.

One major thing I have learned by my peoples mistakes is not to limit God and not to put my agenda in front of His.

I hope in light of continuing revelations of data manipulation, collusion to suppress data, conspiracy to silence potential criticism and other unethical behavior by a number of leading global warming "scientists" at several of the most important and prestigious climate research institutes in the United States and the UK (The British Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, Penn State University, and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center) that essentially invalidates the core research on which all climate predictions used by IPCC, the EPA and various other governmental and non-governmental agencies, those people who so flippantly dismissed those of us who questioned the "settled science" and scorned us as "global warming deniers" will have the common decency to say they are sorry, or at least, "Oops!"
