Does anyone know how to contact the shrine of the Blessed Martyrs of Pratulin? I am interested in obtaining an icon and/or devotionalia in their honor. They are Bl. Vincent Lewoniuk and his 12 Companions, shot to death in 1874 by Czarist troops trying to take away their Greek Catholic parish in order to give it over to the Orthodox.

What appears to be an icon of the Martyrs, but I wasn't able to find a better photo than this. The photo appeared on a tourist's travel blog and is identified as the Shrine itself.

Edit Reason: add link to icon photo

The parish website has links in English so whoever is in charge of the parish website may be able to help you in acquiring an icon.

Here is the most common icon of the Pratulin martyrs: http://rumkatkilise.org/martyrsp2.jpg

Here is another version: http://rumkatkilise.org/stmichael.htm/listing.htm/martyrsp.jpg

Good job, gc! I knew it was on-line, but couldn't remember where I had seen it.

Many years,

Neil

Just to clarify.

The following image is not of the Blessed Martyrs of Pratulin:

This image is of the martyrs of Dreslow, who were killed a week before the martyrs of Pratulin. They have not (as yet) been beatified.

More info on the martys of Dreslow can be found here: http://www.parafia-drelow-nmp.siedlce.opoka.org.pl/
