Please remember His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas of Amissos, in your prayers. He has had a difficult winter and as the Great Fast comes to a close and Pascha draws near, pray that he may be restored to good health in order to continue with his service to God and His Church. Axios! Lord, have mercy.

Prayers for Metropolitan Nicholas, that he be restored to full health and that God grant him many more years in His service.

This Sunday, the faithful of our Diocese were informed that His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas of Amissos (ACROD) was undergoing chemotherapy and has cancelled his fall schedule of pastoral visitations as his cancer has returned. Please remember the Metropolitan in your prayers. The Metropolitan has been a true friend to our Byzantine Catholic brothers and sisters and he has worked tirelessly to foster better understanding between the Orthodox and Byzantine Catholic Rusyns both in America and in Europe.

Continued prayers for His Eminence, who has truly been a leader in seeking to heal the decades of pain that the Carpatho-Rusyn peoples suffered after the events of the last century brought about division and separation among families. May he be healed of his illness and may he be granted many more years in service to God and His peoples.
