David Cheney reports on Catholic-Hierarchy.org that Bishop Milan (Sasik), CM, Apostolic Administrator of the Eparchy of Mukachevo of the Ruthenians since 2002, was named Eparch of the same on March 17.

To be honest, Deacon, I have been at a lot of Ruthenian pontifical Divine Liturgies, and never once have I seen the bishop vest in the nave as is required by the Archieretikon.

But why does his Greek Catholic-style Kopak have a mounted cross?
U-C I assume for the same reason a bishop's mitre has a mounted cross and an archpriest's does not, to designate he is a hierarch.

Fr. Deacon, thanks for the explanation of the kolpak.
Would anyone tell me what a "fimi" is? I think it's some sort of hymn or anthem sung/chanted at a Liturgy served by a bishop...or not.
