For decades this church had no iconostasis. Fr. Eugene Fulton had to move heaven and earth to get the parish to agree to install one. He tried in every way he could to direct their steps along the paths of traditional Eastern Catholic piety. He now serves as Fr. Benedict Groeschel C.F.R.'s right hand at Trinity Retreat in Larchmont, NY. Spiritual father to countless Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, he remains a priest of the Eparchy of Passaic. His loss to the Ruthenian-Greek Catholic Church is incalculable!

Yes Father, this is true. Having been a member here for over ten years, I heard stories about how people refused to give towards erecting the screen. Neither church building had one, until Fr. Gene came. He is remembered quite fondly by those remaining who remember his tenure at HT. He also revived the choir. John
