Epiphanius Za myr z'wysot ... Member Registered: 07/15/02 Posts: 838 Loc: Florida	My cousin Jeanne suffered a stroke on Wednesday, 14 July. I learned about this yesterday, and still haven't heard any prognosis. This is a lady that never married, but helped her widowed brother raise three children as well as helping to care for her parents in their final years.

Epiphanius Za myr z'wysot ... Member Registered: 07/15/02 Posts: 838 Loc: Florida	Thanks to everyone for your prayers. Jeanne regained consciousness on Sunday, but is still unable to speak. Prognosis for her full recovery appears hopeful but still uncertain.

Jeanne has now been moved to a long-term care facility where she will begin rehab. She is starting to realize it's going to be a long recovery and is struggling to accept this. She still cannot swallow properly and has difficulty speaking.
