Quite by surprise I learned that sacred relics of Bl. Mother Teresa of Calcutta would be presented for public veneration today in Dallas at a local RC parish. So off we went to join those gathered for this event. It was a grace-filled opportunity to remember this remarkable servant of Christ and daughter of the Church. The relics were 2 1st. class ones (a drop of her dried blood and a bit of her hair) and also her profession crucifix, her rosary and her sandals.

May her intercession help us to rededicate ourselves to the values she personified, especially those having to do with the intrinsic value of every human person at all stages of life.

Dear Sielos,

Thank you for sharing this. I pray that you will be blessed by venerating the holy relics of this exemplary woman of faith; a saint of our times. May she intercede for you and your family. Amen.

In Christ,
Alice
