Hello everyone. Today (Saturday) we had a special service at my church (St. John the Baptist Antiochan - Western Rite, Lewistown, MD). Our Bishop ... Bishop Thomas, was making his annual visitation and we also had a service of tonsure of a Reader and another gentleman became a Subdeacon. First we had Matins, then the special service, and then Mass. It was absolutely a beautiful and blessed service. Bishop Thomas's message was very, very, good .... not very long, but very to the point and left a lot of us thinking about our own lives and how we can totally commit ourselves to Orthodoxy without questioning. I believe a lot of us former Protestants are very used to questioning things, and his message really hit home with me. He was a huge blessing to us all today.

You were blessed! If we can only get that feeling at each Liturgical Service we will all be blessed.
