Hello all,

It has been awhile since I last posted but me schedule has actually normalized itself out. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to attend an advanced care, critical care, Paramedic program paid for by my employer. As an Advanced EMT, I’ve finally realized that this is what God has called me to do, this is my vocation. So even though I’m a lot busier, I have Sundays off to attend the Divine Liturgy again.

We were attending an Orthodox Church but, in our heart of hearts, my wife and I know we are Catholic, and this is where we shall remain. The Catholic Church encompasses East and West, North and South; and many different liturgical traditions. What more could I ask for to raise my future children in a faith that is unified and is also diverse?

And speaking of children, we are trying to have a family. We need everyone’s prayers. Were not looking at a timeline just the possibility of child. My wife’s ovulation cycle is irregular, so we are working with out doctor and praying that God will bless us with a child.

We’re also praying that a permanent Byzantine Catholic mission be established here in Southwest/Central Oklahoma. We now have a regular Divine Liturgy schedule and an avid group of Catholics and newcomers who attend. I pray that one day it will blossom into a parish.

Thank you all for your support and prayers, if your in the area please come to the Divine Liturgy.

God bless each and everyone of you,
James

Dear James,

Glory to God for your positive update!

Through the intercessions of St. Anna and St. Irene Chrysovolantou, I pray that your wife will pregnant soon!

May the Lord hear our prayer and their intercessions...

In Christ,
Alice

Prayers for our brother, James, and his wife. May his training program be rewarding and successful and may their prayers for children be rewarded.
