FYI

This was forwarded to me from someone at St. Gregory's in Lakewood, OH which is a parish under the BCA Eparchy of Parma.

It appears that another church in Ohio (Holy Ghost was closed last year) may be closed in the near future.

Monomakh,

Thanks for posting this. It does indeed look as though St Gregory's future is doubtful. However, the text of this document certainly suggests a much more open and thoughtful approach is being taken than has been the case in many such instances in recent history. The solicitation of parishioner input and the consideration of alternatives suggests that there is genuine concern for the spiritual care of the parish faithful.

Prayers for our brothers and sisters of St Gregory's.

Many years,

Neil

Don't know anything about St. Gregory's but my prayers are with them. All Holy Trinity wanted was Option D.
