Brothers and Sisters:

Please pray for my wife, Loretta, who has been in a tough work situation that has come to a crossroads today. Thank God for each of you and your generosity.

May our Lord have mercy on Loretta's situation...enlightening and guiding her every move at work, and also enlightening the actions of others, so that all will work out for her good benefit and according to Your will.

Please, dear God, hear our prayers, in unison with those of our beloved friend Bob, who is your good and devoted child.

Amen. Amen. Amen!

In Christ,
Alice

Lord Jesus Christ, throw wide open the doors, and make provision for gainful, peaceful, employment that is pleasing for both Bob and Loretta.

An update.

Loretta finished her job teaching in a private kindergarten, after 16 years; 22 total in the private program of preschool and kindergarten. The owners refused to even speak to her for the two months from July 6 to August 20; just handed her her personnel file and took her key.

Last evening was difficult for her because she's been doing a kindergarten orientation for the past 16 years. Additionally, many of her former and about-to-be studnets were called forward in our parish (not related to the private school) for a blessing as they started the new school year.

The blessing, however, is that out-of-the-blue came a new job at another private school teaching a preschool class of 3 year olds. This place has made her feel at home and the owner even went so far as to tell her she was the answer to prayers for a teacher. She started last Monday. She says she still isn't used to a calm atmosphere where no one belittles anyone, no one screams at children, and there is no stress in the atmosphere.

Thanks be to God who showers us with His Many Blessings.

Bob

Bob y'all have been through so much. God is so merciful. He never shuts a door without opening another one. Thank you Jesus for this awesome blessing.

Prayers of thanksgiving for Loretta's new employment and her departure from an environment that had such negative aspects despite her love for her work.
