EWTN to air program on Blessed Omelian Kovch

PARISH PRIEST OF MAJDANEK:

January 30 at 10PM

February 1 at 1PM

February 3 at 5AM

Documentary about Father Omelian Kovch, a Ukrainian priest who
died in Majdanek, a Nazi concentration camp on the outskirts of Lublin, Poland.

Like St. Maximilian Kolbe, he prepared many for death. Pope
John Paul II beatified him in 2001. (60 mins) www.ewtn.com

Don't you mean Sunday night, as in tonight? January 30 is Sunday.

Did you miss it tonight, thinking it was tomorrow night?

You still have two more opportunities.

February 1 is Tuesday and February 3 is Thursday.

Christ is in our midst!!

Stumbled on this last evening and it's an awesome witness to how all of us should live. Blessed Omelian truly lived his configuration to Christ by ordination, even when it meant that he had to leave his family behind becuase his priestly service was more important. "He who loves father or mother or brother or sister more than Me is not worthy of me." He trusted the Good Lord to take care of his family as he did what he was called to do by ordination.

St. Omelian, pray for us that we be given half the faith you showed us by your life.

Bob

Indeed, I am, as usual, a day late --- and a dollar short, but that's another trouble.
