I have been going through the Rusyn lessons from the Metropolitan Cantor Institute website.

In these lessons, the verb to be is translated where it probably wouldn't be in Russian or Ukrainian.

For example:

Тоже образ се (есть) у стен-ъ

Russians or Ukrainians would probably (as I understand it) omit есть. Is the verb to be used in colloquial Rusyn or is it merely inserted for teaching purposes?
