I would bet money that when they dig deeper into the murderer's computer, they will find out, just as they have with just about every single mass murderer here in the U.S., that he was into some kind of occultic or satanic stuff.

I am convinced that each time I hear of such atrocities, (the monster of the Hassidic community being the most recent--and true to form, he claims to hear 'voices') that it is a case of demon possession.

An acquaintance of mine was shot by the 'Son of Sam' in the 1970's...Later it was revealed that the 'Son of Sam', David Berkowitz, worshipped the evil one with a group in some park. He also said that he heard 'voices' telling him to kill from a black dog. In prison, though a Jew by birth, he turned to Jesus and became born again and acknowledged that it was the evil one who told him to do those things...
That was before the easy access to all things occultic and demonic at the click of a mouse on the computer.

In just about every case we hear about, there is this demonic link--Infact, the media mentions it once (I have heard it in every high school and college massacre here) and then you never hear about it again so they can go on and on about the secular reasons 'why' the person did this!!

May our Lord have mercy on the people of Norway who experienced evil of this magnitutude for the first time *since WWII*.

May the Lord have mercy and protect us all from evil, Amen.

Even here in the States we're chronically exposed to the possibility of violence and murderous mayhem. Every time I head off to DFW airport where i work I ask the Lord to shelter all people exposed to violence & danger, whether it be @ the airport, or at a church, or a mall or anywhere else people gather in large numbers. I try to remember to ask Him to make the airport a place of safety, security, peace, grace and graciousness.
Altho I often get rather irked over something or other, trying to be gacious is all I myself can do. The rest is up to God.

I lament to draw your attention to the fact that the recent tragic events in Norway are, alas! not the first time in recent history that that country has experienced evil.

peruse and weep over http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occupation_of_Norway_by_Nazi_Germany

That's the source of the word "quisling" as a synonym for traitor.

May the collective memory of evil, malevolent bullies perish from the earth. May it be as wax before fire; as dust before wind.

Ainsi soit-il.

Indeed, it seems as if the shooter envisioned himself as some sort of 'Christian warrior' akin to the Islamic version created by bin Laden and al Qaeda. I suppose that he will be held up to the ignorant masses of the Muslim world as some sort of Christian boogeyman to be feared etc....and typical of all Christians.

The madness continues.....

God be merciful! I don't like Islam either, but shooting 100+ people is no solution.
