His comments about Mukachevo were, to be polite, 'diplomtic' in tone. Anyone have an read on that from the Greek Catholic side of the aisle?

Not sure that I agree with my brother, David, as to the 'diplomacy' thereof. I was taken a bit aback by his reference to Bishop Milan as a 'member' of the Synod of Bishops of the Kyiv-Halych Metropolitanate. My impression and understanding has been that he is present as an observer. Anyone?
Many years,
Neil

Do his comments related to Mukachevo have any relevance to the future of the Byzantine Catholic Church in the U.S?

That's closer to 'observer' than to 'member' Many years, Neil

Do his comments related to Mukachevo have any relevance to the future of the Byzantine Catholic Church in the U.S? Not to my mind (but then my mind is rarely ever read by Rome or any other Church authorities). There is no formal canonical relationship between the Mother Church and its American daughter. Although counted as one for purposes of enumerating the number of Churches sui iuris, they are, for all intents and purposes, two separate Churches sui iuris of identical Rite, Tradition, and Rescension. Many years, Neil
