St. Joseph Maronite Church in Olean, NY was destroyed by fire this afternoon.

Let us keep the new pastor and the parishioners in our prayers.

Please keep us updated about this and maybe ways in which we can be of assistance. I will remember Saint Joseph's this evening in prayer.

Prayers for Abouna and the parishioners of St Joseph's - looking at the photo, devastation must be virtually complete.

From what I gather everything was lost. One of the Latin parishes offered their building, vessels, vestments, etc... for as long as they need.

So sad, I remember when St. Mary's Orthodox Church in South Buffalo burned many years ago. It was like losing a close family member. So many memories. Lord, have mercy.
