I love their pacing.

Clearly, the work of the great cantor/teachers of the 19th century Presov Academy has been not been lost! Many of the early Rusyn priests and cantors in America, be they Greek Catholic, or later converts to Orthodoxy, learned there and brought the beauty of the Rusyn prostopenije to America.

I thank them for teaching men like my late father and the late Metropolitan Nicholas, who in turn passed the chant tradition on to those of us of my generation. I know that there are similar stories within the Byzantine Catholic Church as well and I truly include their intentions as well. Eternal be all of their memories! Vicnaja jim Pamjat!
