I have been slowly losing my vision over the past several years due to a condition called Central Serous Chorioretinopathy, but because I suddenly began experiencing terrible pain in my right eye this past week I went to the eye doctor on Friday and was diagnosed with Acute Angle Glaucoma. On Tuesday I will have laser eye surgery on my right eye in order to alleviate the pressure that has built up in that eye. The following week I will have laser surgery on my left eye, which has been less severely affected by the build up of pressure so far.

I ask people to pray that the operations are successful, and that there has been no further damage to my already weak eyes.

P.S. - I have an icon of St. Paraskeva and would appreciate prayers for her intercession in particular.

Prayers for a successful surgery. May the Lord God guide the surgeon's hands. May He bring about the fullness of His healing.

Prayers for our brother, Todd, that St Paraskeva intercede for him before the Holy Throne, that the Unmercenary Physicians, the Ss Cosmas and Damien, guide the hands of his surgeons, and that his vision be restored to the fullness of its function.

Prayers for your surgery tomorrow, Todd. May St. Paraskevi intercede and may the angels of God guide your surgeons hands. God bless you and be with you.

In Christ,
Alice

Through the prayers of St. Nektarios of Aegina, Lord grant our brother a successful conclusion to his surgeries.
