As much as I went through the forum, I didnt see such a topic and I found it best to post it in here.
I know the russians make some beatiful stuff, such as prayer ropes or wooden chotkies. Do eastern catholics have the same? How can I find them exposed online?

Eastern Christian Supply Company has prayer ropes from various monasteries.

St. John's Bookstore of the Monastery of St. John in Manton, California has prayer ropes.

If you google "prayer ropes," there are many other sources. In Albania, you may be able to find a monastery in your own or a neighboring country from which you could obtain a prayer rope easier than sending to the United States.

The search function isn't the greatest. There have been topics about obtaining prayer ropes in the past but it's never a bad choice to start a new thread to get what you need.

a chotki is a chotki is a chotki , whether it's Catholic or Orthodox

I don't know how you tell the difference between an Eastern Catholic on and an Orthodox one. . Is there a difference - I don't think so.

I also have a Lestovka [ yes and I use it too ]

Actually, one may find slight differences between a greek chomboskoini and a romanian, or a russian prayer rope. Especially the russians seem to have a western influence, like the division each ten knotes, the emphasis on beauty of material, or the use of beads.
I do not expect a eastern catholic prayer rope to be different. Still I have never seen online some.

I too have a lestovka!

A Google search turned up this store: Lots of nice ones! Eastern Catholic Chotki

There are some really super gorgeous ones here: Rosaries and Chotkis

I have never heard there being a difference between Eastern Catholic and Eastern Christian prayer ropes though I have known Eastern Catholic nuns who prayed their Rosary and their Jesus Prayer on the same prayer rope.

Arbanon,

A few of our forum members over the years, both Catholic and Orthodox, themselves make Chotkis.

One of the links posted above by Hope&Memory Chotkis & Chaplets is or was originally the site of Tammy, a forum member. Though I know she was trying to sell the business a couple of years ago, I'm not sure if she did or if she is still operating it.

See Phillip Rolfe's work here. Phillip, I know for certain, is still making these.

Many years,

Neil

I have to say, one should never get to like a chotki from the picture. They might seem beautiful, but are uncomfortable once you have them in your hand for prayer. I have come already across of all pages you have brought forth.

Is there by chance any russian website exposing online such chotkis which will remain out of google search?
The russian they really make beautiful stuff!
