I always have mixed feelings about things like this. On the one hand, Cardinal Schonborn "... had promised to donate the church
after determining it could no longer be maintained by its declining Roman Catholic congregation;" but then--they always say that.

However, it's encouraging that this is a
donation, and no money was exchanged in the transfer. I certainly have no argument with the statement that "Roman Catholics should help sister churches in a spirit of Christian solidarity," and that it is better to give churches to them than sell them for use as restaurants or discos.
