Christ is Born!! Glorify Him!!

I was looking for a new prayer rope and Slavipodvizhnik sent me to a monastery where the nuns make beautiful prayer ropes to support themselves. They have a revised website and gift store at

http://stpaisiusmonastery.org

Just received my new one today and I highly recommend the sisters prayer ropes.

In Christ,

Bob

The sisters at St Paisius really do make very high-quality prayer ropes. I also highly recommend them. I've been ordering from them for over 3 years now for our parish bookstore, and theirs are the only ones I stock anymore, even though there are some to be found that are less expensive. The sisters make them in the traditional wool, as well as from satin cord, wooden beads, and semi-precious stones. They even have a separate catalog now just for prayer ropes.

Also, I spent several days at their monastery a few years ago, and would encourage anyone to visit who can. They are very welcoming, and they have a new church and a fantastic bookstore. The singing at the services is heavenly. (I also highly recommend their CD titled "Selections from the All-Night Vigil." You won't be disappointed!)
