The UGCC has developed a website to help people wishing to make pilgrimages to holy sites in Ukraine. Lots of pictures. A bit of history of the Churches and other sites. On the right side of the pages, you can select the language. The site uses Google translate, so it can take a few seconds to switch from Ukrainian. There are some odd English translations.  “The newly created website of the Patriarchal Pilgrimage Center (PPC) presents the results of the two years of work of the center which is mainly designed to tell all Christians about the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and show its presence in Ukraine,” said the head of PPC, Mr. Dmytro Myronenko.
The Patriarchal Pilgrimage Center was established by the Decree of Patriarch Lubomyr (Husar) of February 26, 2010. Since that time, the workers of the center have done a lot of work and created a data base of the sacral objects of the UGCC. “The fact that we consider 83 shrines of the UGCC to be pilgrimage ones is the result of that work,” said Mr. Myronenko.
The center issued a guide map Shrines of Ukraine, and issued jointly with the Information Department of the UGCC a calendar of pilgrimage places for 2012. Information on the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, PA. They also have a Byzantine Chapel on the grounds where services are held. A lovely place, its the next best thing to being in Poland (been there also). http://www.czestochowa.us/ They also offer a daily email newsletter in Polish and English

Approximately one hour and 40 minutes depending from the Northern NJ area, take I-287 S to I-78 W, then I-287 S to RT-179 S. Went there for years to their annual Polish Festival over Labor Day weekend, unfortunately the majority of my family are deceased so I do not attend any longer but it is a lovely day out and they have services along with a fantastic Polish Art Exhibit, Polish dancers, crafts and many other other activities. They also have a very lovely Retreat House (Ave Maria), retreats and seminars are offered year-round but you have to call and check the schedule.

It appears it will be held in September, 2012 Sunday, September 16th - Pilgrimage of Siberian Survivors in the USA. On the 15th, the day before, the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, a major holy day in Slovakia (she is their Patron Saint) and is popular in some areas of Poland also.
