I offer my prayers for all the protesters who are marching in the March for Life tomorrow. No nation can survive that kills its own children. God have mercy on us if we continue to sacrifice our children to Moloch for 40 more years. The next president will be sworn in 2 days before the 40th Anniversary of Roe VS. Wade.

Prayers that all those participating be safe and that God blesses them for their efforts on behalf of the unborn.

I'd love to be there with them but I can't. Prayer for the participants' safety is important, esp. in the dangerously unhealthy culture of death which has developed in this country. People feel free to attack physically folks they disagree with. There's always the chance of violence when people assemble. So, prayers for the participant's safety and that their witness will help our "pro-choice" sisters and brothers to undergo a change of mind and heart.

Against the principalities and powers of the Culture of Death I offer these words of Martin Luther, addressed to Peter, the Barber of Wittenberg, from A Simple Way to Pray augmenting the petition of the Lord's Prayer "Thy Kingdom come":

Dear Lord God and Father, convert and control. Convert those who are still to become children and members of your kingdom, that together we may serve you in your kingdom in the right faith and true love and pass from this kingdom begun here to your everlasting kingdom. Control those who would not withdraw their might and means from disturbing your kingdom. May they be dethroned and in humiliation stop molesting your kingdom.

It was a great day! I posted a few photos and will post some more when I have a chance.

I was listening to Catholic radio's coverage of the March for Life in DC today, 1/23, when commentator Teresa Tomeo said "ByzanTEENs for Life" as I suppose they went by with their banner smile Hopefully our ByzanTEENs will post some shots from DC's March today, which took place in cold, cold rain.
