A friend has just brought to my attention that Tim Cuprisin, who was a long-time member of the forum and posted under his own name, reposed in the Lord on Nov. 23 after a brief battle with melanoma. He was only 53 years old.

Tim always offered observations when his native Chicago came up in discussion and liked to weigh in on historical threads - which undoubtedly factored into his founding a chapter of the Carpatho-Rusyn Society. He didn't post a lot, but his posts were always worth reading.

Tim Cuprisin, Longtime Milwaukee Media Critic Passes Away

O God of all spiritual and corporeal beings, You Who trampled death, broke the power of Satan and granted life to the whole world, now, O Lord, grant rest to the soul of Your departed servant, Tim, in a place of light, freshness, and peace, where there is neither pain, nor sorrow, nor mourning.

As You are a gracious God and the Lover of mankind, forgive him every transgression committed by him in word, deed, or thought, since there is no man alive who has not sinned, for You alone are without sin and You are the Resurrection and the Life, O Christ our God, and we render glory to You, together with Your Eternal Father, and Your most Holy, gracious, and life-giving Spirit, now and ever and forever.

May Tim's memory be eternal and may his loved ones be comforted in the prayerful expectation of being reunited with him in Heaven.

Oh dear...may Tim's memory be eternal in the Kingdom of God.
Lord have mercy on his soul. Amen.

With the souls of the just brought to perfection, give rest O Savior to the soul of your servant, Tim, keeping him for the blessed life with you, for you love mankind!

Eternal memory! And prayers to his family and friends ...
