I share prayers of thanksgiving for our daughter. She had what they called a "bone transplant" in preparation for a dental implant in about 6 months, Inshallah. (Entirely different "bone transplant" from one she had about 10+ years ago with... this involved PRP, platelet-rich plasma therapy, her blood spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets became like almost fully gelled jello then pushed into the site. She wanted me as her interpreter so I watched the whole thing.)

The surgery went very well. She and her guide dog were with her dad and me 5 days post-op and went home Monday night, pain well controlled and in great frame of mind.

I was grateful that she herself requested her priest give her the sacrament of anointing for the sick which he had done before surgery a couple of years ago. Her parish is near the clinic so we were able to meet with Father there just before the surgery, and also spent some time sitting in the temple together in silent prayer. She has multiple severe handicaps including being developmentally delayed. Thanks be to God for all the graces He bestows on her, including the great gift of faith.

Glory to God for His many gifts in this, including the vocation of Father Zirimenya, a very dear priest serving a very special community.

Dearest Sister in Christ,

Thank you for sharing your relief and your joy. May God bless you, your husband and your daughter each and every day. May the Blessed Mother of God protect all of you each and every day.

With humble love in Christ,

Prayers for MaryLouise's daughter, that the implant surgery be fully successful and that it contribute to an increased quality of life for her.
